there are three shows this week alone, none of which I will be attending. I hate being broke. But back to the shows. The first one is tonight and will probably be such an amazing show. It's Mustard Plug and Mu330 (even if they are playing with BAMF! and Mustache Heroes it'll be great) at the Creepy. I believe it's ten dollars to get in without the surcharge. The next show is this Friday at The Broadway Center of Art featuring Suburban Epidemic and How To Steat And Cheal (who if you want my opinion is probably number two for local ska) at 7. It's only five bucks and it's HTSAC's drummer Mikey's last show. To keep your weekend going you could always head back to the Creepy to check out Koffin Kats with quite a few local bands such as Benedict Arnold. It's ten dollars plus probably a two dollar surcharge. I would totally go to all these shows and dance my heart out, but I'm broke. So you should probably go and experience it for me. :)
Oh yeah, Drop Dead Gorgeous with NOVELLA Sunday. I wouldn't suggest going, but hey if you dig it you dig it.

With September 10th Brings Sad News.
Today at roughly 5:20 p.m. (Central Time) relayed to me through a MySpace bulletin was the saddest news I've heard in a while; Spitalfield is calling it quits. Now, those of you that know me know that Spitalfield was a big part of my life for a while, and upon reading said bulletin I shed a tear. That's right, I cried. But with the sad normally comes a glint of exciting. That glint this time would be that they're doing a goodbye tour and for the first time in months they'll be hitting up the St. Louis area, more like Sauget. This makes me so happy, even though it will be the last time I ever get to see them at least they're giving it one last bang. So everyone mark your calenders for November 11, 2007; Spitalfied, The Forecast, The Graduate, Attention, and LUDO (or so that's the lineup I'm led to believe right now) at Pop's. It should be a fun one, so start saving now, I'm sure it won't be much, and you'll be garaunteed the chance to dance.
